As a Disc Jockey, I started my career shortly after my wife and I got married. Since this time I have personally, disc jockeyed over 500 weddings and an additional 200 other types of events. I have played at nearly every facility in the Indy & Bloomington areas! I have met some great people because of what I do…. The greatest gift I get is when a bride and groom come to me after their reception and the tell me how amazing their night was!! It makes packing up my equipment a whole lot easier when I know I was a little bit responsible for making their night! I pride myself on the professional service I provide from start to finish. During the planning phase of a wedding, I capture as much information as possible in order to eliminate any unwanted surprises. During the reception, I work very closely with the other wedding venders to insure everything runs super smooth! I also do a really nice job of reading the dance floor to understand how to keep it rockin’ all night long!! In addition to weddings I have also disc jockeyed many other types of events which would include birthday parties, corporate events, school events, bar & bat mitzvah’s, fundraising events, etc… Many of these events are repeat clients and or referrals from past clients. Which is also a huge honor!!
As a person – I am a proud father of 6 children with 1 in college and 5 living at home with my wife Tracy and me. When I am not working, I spend most of my time goofing off with the kids. Tracy and I have had the opportunity to take the kids to Disney World a couple of times and it was incredible both times. We try each year to break away for a nice family vacation, even if it is only for a few days. We have family in the Bloomington area where we both grew up and visit as often as possible. If given the opportunity I love to go fishing with the boys (my father, father-in-law, and my son’s).

The history of Lakeside Entertainment goes back several years to when I married my best friend Tracy! We had an absolutely great time at our wedding reception in Bloomington, IN. Which got me to ask our DJ what it took to be a disc jockey. He hired me within a few weeks and I spent many years working for him. Tracy and I, along with our first of 5 children, relocated to the Indy area in 1998. It was then I decided that getting home from Bloomington at 2:00am after a reception was not easy for me to do. So, I left that company to work for one that was more local. I spent a couple of years working for this company before deciding I wanted to go out on my own. In late 2006 with the support of my wife and family, I was able to make the move and I incorporated Lakeside Entertainment, LLC. Why the name Lakeside Entertainment? I actually spent a lot of time considering all kinds of names I thought would sound pretty cool as a disc jockey company. Instead, I chose the name that had already been proven successful within my family. My Uncle Gordie had a very successful distributing company in Wisconsin (Guess: Beer or Cheese? answer at the bottom!). The name of his business was Lakeside Distributing. Anyway, the name Lakeside Entertainment is purely sentimental to me! I hope you like it as well!! In the past 5 years Lakeside Entertainment, LLC has gone from 20 booked events to over 75 in 2012. We accomplish this goal by implementing a recipe of service standards which include: You!! We work closely with you several weeks prior to your event in order to best understand the music selections, timelines, as well as any special announcements you would like us to emcee. Working closely with your other hired vendors to ensure everything runs smooth on your special day. We maintain a huge library of music totaling more than 40,000 songs, which includes all the latest tunes. This allows us to play most any request you or your guests may have. Professionalism! We arrive at a minimum of 1 hour (90 minutes for weddings) prior to the contracted start time. We will be in professional dress attire.
